Huawei and tech giant Google supercharge Android with a new Raspberry Pi, HiKey 960 which is powered by Android 7.1. It is powered by Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 960 octa-core processor .
HiKey 960 priced by $ 239 which is come with latest Gpu and CPU features. HiKey 960 developed b y team of Google,ARM,Huawei, Archermind and LeMaker. The performance of HiKey 960 is similar to Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 chips. It has a Huawei Kirin 960 octa-core chip,features 4 cores of Cortex A73,which provide upto 2.3 Ghz, and 4 cores of Cortex A53 (upto 1.8 GHz). The Kirin 960 already used in Huawei’s Mate 9 smartphones.
By using HiKey ,we can make Robot,Drones and other and other smart devices.The ideal use case for the HiKey is for developers working on ARM-based software, like Android apps. It has 32 Gb of storage and 3Gb of LPDDR4 RAM.The board only have HDMI 1.2a slot,which gives output of 1080p.The board has 40 pin and 60 pin connectors for connecting various hardware like camera .It also support faster SSD card also to extend memory.
